Bouncing Baby Boy

I am sick of all of us being sick so I thought I would post a video of my happy baby. I havn't seen him happy in almost a week and I miss it so much.

Well its time for Carter to take his morning nap so I am off now. I hope to have time to write a real blog in the near future. Carter being sick is not helping at all!

Sick, Sick and more Sick!

Well Carter has spread the illness to all of us now. Mommy and Daddy are both sick. It sucks the more sick I feel the worse I feel for Carter, now I know what he is really going through. I feel terrible and so must he. So every one coming to his baptism tomorrow please excuse all of us as we are all sick. And what a terrible time to get sick. Jim, I and Carter all had a long day of cleaning the house and getting ready for tomorrow. But its so hard to get anything done as we all just feel like shit. Carter doesn't want to be put down and frankly we don't want to clean. So if are house isn't spotless please don't be to hard on us.

Carter did go on a mini trip with Daddy today. They went to grandma and grandpa's house in Hugo to pick the power washer. It sounded like Carter had fun and was really good the whole trip. This is the 1st time daddy has taken Carter along by him self. Its about time he is 6 months old already! He was only away from mommy for about 2 hours so it wasn't to bad for me either. I did get a lot of laundry folded and put away!

So people read this blog I can see that but why doesn't any one ever post comments. Come on everyone. It would be nice for Carter to get some mail! And who doesn't like getting mail when its not a bill!

A whole new look

It was that time again. Carter will be 6 months old on Sunday so he went and got his 6 month pictures taken. They turned out fairly well. I think his 3 month pictures were cuter but oh well. In other news Carter is sick with this nasty cold poor thing. And the great big news Carter cut his 1st tooth. This almost made the mommy in me cry. My baby is growing up way way to fast. Carter is getting baptized on Sunday so we are having a big party after at our house. The food is all bought and the lasagna is ready to go in the oven so I think we are set. I should have some pictures up some time next week.

Carter 6 month pictures will have to do for now as its way past my bed time.

A friend for Carter

So with buying a new house and everything we need to get done with this house I have to take in some money. I will do anything and everything I can do to stay home with my child. Growing up with a single mom I have just as much day care memories as I do memories of being home with my mom. I don't want that for Carter I want him remembering me not sharing those memories with some day care lady.

So today I had a first meeting with a really nice family. They have a 10 month old little girl who they are looking for day care for. The meeting went really good and I am hoping they will chose to leave there little girl in my care. The pay isn't great but I am not licensed or anything so what can you do. I am just a stay at home mom I haven't been to school for day care or anything. Its better then nothing though. I am hoping to take on 2 infants which would bring me somewhere around 600 a month which is ok with me. I will get to stay home with my son and thats all that counts. Well I am really hoping they chose me because we could really use the extra money right now. Before the snow flys we are putting all new windows and a patio door in, new trim on the out side of the house, and we are having our hard wood floors refinished. We really need to win the lottery or somthing.

Did Carter shrink? Oh wait that is not Carter thats baby Croix. He is 1 month old already and he still doesn't even weigh what Carter weighed at birth!

Viral Infection

A viral infection. That is what my boy has. After 3 days of fever and 3 days of pure crabbyness I took him to the doctor. My poor thing. I thought he might have an ear infection but nope its a viral infection. The doctor said to give him advil, so after Jim gets home from work we will be heading to Walmart to get some baby advil.

In other new I hear back from the modeling agency here is what they had to say:

Baby Model?

I sent Carters pictures in to a local modeling agency after being told to by tons and tons of people. Is he modeling material? I guess I don't know it doesn't really matter to me but I do hope to hear back from them soon as I hate to wait.
everyone says he is just the cutest thing ever but don't they say that about all babies? Well I will let you know what they say when I hear back from them. Which I hope will be soon.

Wow this last weekend had sure been a very busy one.

Friday was filled up. I had to wake Carter up at 8 am. I had a doctors apt at 9:30 we got there and everything went great. I had a great time seeing my ob again. The 9 months that I saw her with Carter we became friends, and I have missed seeing her. Well I am hoping to start seeing her more regular again. She gave my my meds to start trying again. I am going back on Metformin, which was the drug I conceived Carter on. She also gave me Provera which is a drug that induces your period, take it for 10 day and when you are done you get your period. See I have never gotten my periods on my own. We are also going to try Clomid again. What is Clomid you ask? Clomiphene stimulates the release of hormones necessary for ovulation to occur.Clomiphene is used to stimulate ovulation (the release of an egg) when a woman's ovaries can produce a follicle but hormonal stimulation is deficient. I am hoping I could be pregnant by Christmas, it would be the best gift I could ever get. I am not getting my hopes up though really it took 4 years to get pregnant with Carter.
After the doctors apt we went to see aunt Becky where she put some more high lights in mommys hair. It turned out great. Mommy loves it Becky!!!!
We then ran to Babies R Us we needed shoes to go with Carters outfit he would be wearing the next day. I found this really super cute biker boy outfit that had these shoes that matched and they are almost exactly the same boots that daddy has so I just had to get the outfit. We did find shoes for the next day too.
After that we went and picked up daddy and we were on our way to grandpa and grandmas house. We then set a bunch of tents and what not for Jenny's wedding. After all the set up was done we were ready for dinner. Aunt Becky was holding him and a bee stung Carter. Poor thing just screamed and screamed but only for about 30 seconds. He was fine he arm swelled a little bit but other then that he has done just fine which is a good thing as my mom and my dad are both allergic to bees. After dinner and setting up we went home for the night.

Saturday was busy we had Jenny's wedding. It was fun and we had a great time.

Sunday was the gift opening. They got lots of cool gifts and tons of money too, which is awesome for them.
We are finally back home and Carter has been terribly crabby last night and so far today. I am not sure whats up with him but he is running a bit of a fever. Are thoes stupid teeth ever going to break through?

Where has time gone?

Mommy is emotional today I guess she just keeps looking back on these last 5 months. Just thought I would share some pictures with you or Carter when he was 1-2 weeks old.

Carters 1st bath. At 4 days old. This was the 1 and only time he screamed for his bath. After this bath he has loved ever last bath he has taken. Just like his mommy.

Where has time gone. I am sad it just goes so fast. I cherish every day.

Is it teeth?

I don't know what has gotten in to Carter today but man he has been terrible. He literately screamed all day long. Is now 9 pm and I just laid him down to sleep. I am not sure how much sleep I am going to get tonight. I think he is going to cut a tooth. I can feel something on his bottom right tooth I think I am not sure though maybe I am just thinking I feel something. I tried Tylenol all day it did nothing. Then I tried the teething tablets they also did nothing. The baby Origel seemed to help. Who knows though maybe by the time I tried it he was just to worn out to cry. I think Jim is kind of freaking out though because his sister Jenny's wedding is this weekend and we really can't have a crabby baby on Saturday. Well thats all for today I think I need to head to bed right now as I have a feeling I have a long long night ahead of me.

A whole new look!

Well I haven't blogged in forever. I was so freaking busy getting ready for camping that I plain old just didn't have time to blog. Camping was great but I will leave that for tomorrows post I have a really cranky baby on my hands today but I just wanted to mess around for awhile with his blog now that he is finally sleeping! So how do you all like it. I really never liked the old layout and I think this one is much better. Its just so much cleaner looking. I cleaned up his blog when I should be cleaning up this house but oh well.
