Exactly one year ago.
I was lying in bed at the hospital getting induced. I could have never imagined how much my life would change at exactly 9:27 that night.
Today my baby is officially 1. :(
The party starts at 3 this afternoon. But really for us the party started exactly one year ago today.

In one months time.
Well its only a month away now. Carter will be one. I am so sad. I can not beleive how fast this year went.
I have started the planning process we are doing a fire truck theme. I made the invitations my self. They are at the printer today getting printed.
This is what his cake will look like.

And this one is for after the cake.
We have around 80 (with around 20 of them kids) or so people invited. I am sure it will be a great day. We are hoping its warm enough out side that day. Not that we would be out side but at least the guys can hang out in the garage. As for food we are doing simple things. Its Carter's birthday and I believe he should be able to eat everything that is at his party right. So sandwiches, crackers, stuff like that.

An odd thing happened!
After trying to have a baby for 4 years I finally got pregnant on my own. Ok I was taking metformin and I did lose 40lbs. 9 months later the most wonderful little man was born.
We knew right away we wanted to try having more kids, Jim being one of 5 wants a lot of kids. Me being an only child knew I would never want to have my child be an only child.
When Carter was 6 months old I took a drug called provera to induce my period. I also took another drug called Clomid, which is suppose to help you ovulate. Keep in mind Carter was still breastfeeding. After doing this for 2 months, I started to get my period on my own. But I also dried up. It was a chance I had to take. I took it and I dried up. Do I regrette it yes in a way I do, I miss the breastfeeding so bad. Well I got my period twice on my own. I don't think I ovulated but I guess I don't know I could have. Well this month I went in for a ultrasound which had shown that I had probably ovulated the nite before. I went in a few days later for a blood test that had shown that I had indeed ovulated.
Fast forward a few days. I have felt sick to my stomach now for a few days, I have known. Jim wasn't so sure. Anyways we took the new puppy to his first night at obidence classes. After class we had to stop at target for diapers, wipes, and formula. While there I bought some pregnancy tests. I got home and peed on the stick, it was there very faint but there. I showed Jim he still wasn't convinced and told me to pee on the most expensive brand that we had bought. I didn't have to pee, so I waited until this morning I peed on the more expensive brand. Again its there but its faint. I am currently 10 days past ovulation, in all honesty way to early to test. But its there a line is a line and I am indeed once again PREGNANT!!!!!!!!
I looked it up online and I am due November 13th. Which so happens to be Jim's BIRTHDAY!!!!!!
So inclusion I would like to announce that I AM PREGNANT!!!!!
I haven't even spoke to my doctor yet (she was out of the office today) but I will call first thing in the morning I know she is going to be super excited. After having trouble finding an ob/gyn that wanted to take me as a patient when I was pregnant with Carter I found the most wonderful awesome doctor in the world. I seriously can't say how awesome she is. After 9 months of seeing her we have become friends in a way. I remember her saying when I had my ultrasound last week that she was very optimistic that I had ovulated, I replied ya you always are. Well she finally was right.
There are so many things going through my head right now.

There are so many things going through my head right now.
- How the hell are we going to manage 4 dogs and 2 babies at one time.
- What are we going to do about Carter we only have 2 bedrooms upstairs. I am not putting Carter in the bedroom in the basement when he wont even be 2 years old. No way.
- Ugh we just bought a bran new stroller and now we need to buy a double stroller.
- I would love a girl so much, all I have ever wanted was a girl, but right now a boy would be so much easier. We already have every thing for a boy.
- Not only will I have Croix and Carter to take care of during the day I will have 4 kids (Croix's mommy is pregnant too)
- How cool is it that Jim's best friend wife (Croix's mommy) and I are pregnant again at the same time.
- Can I love this baby as much as I love Carter
- How is my mom going to handle it, she loves Carter probably more then anything in the world can she love another baby just as much?
- I am excited that my sister in law and I are pregnant at the same time too, though her baby will be 6 months older then the new baby.
- How is Carter going to handle not being the center of attention.

Gosh its been such a long time. I again am so terrible at keeping you all update. But here is the thing there is nothing exciting going on in our lives. My birthday Feb 9th came and past. I got to spend the day with the most wonderful boy in the world. I couldn't have asked for a better present.
Last week Carter and I both got really sick. Bad cold, I was over mine in a couple days but Carter is having a hard time getting over his. He is all snotty and let me tell you he freaks out when I wipe his nose.
Carter did pop tooth number 8 yesterday.
We are currently in the middle of a kitchen remodel. Ugh I cant wait for it to be over. We are painting the cabinets, then adding a bead board back splash, then painting the whole room, including the ceiling, trim and walls. That is after we repair many spots in the plaster walls. I just want to be done. Phase 1 painting the cupboards should be done this weekend.

Ok I know its been awhile but really not all that much is new with us. Its been the coldest winter I can ever remember. That means a lot of staying in and not going very many places.
We did venture out this last weekend and took Hailey )whom is my cousin almost 3 year old and also my god daughter) and Carter to the children's museum. Hailey is the prefect age and she just had a blast. Jake, P, and Croix came along too.
Speaking of Croix, I am now on week 2 of watching Croix. Croix spends all day Monday and Wednesday and 2 hours on Tuesday with Carter and I. Its going good. He is a high needs baby though so much different then my easy baby. Carter finishes a bottle within 10 mins always has Croix takes 45 mins that drives me nuts. P walks with Croix to put him to sleep. Carter I set him in his crib he rolls over and goes right to sleep. But Croix is getting use to us and how we work around here. He has been going down to nap with very little crying so that is good. It gets better every day.
Now whats new with Carter? Well since I last posted he cut yet another tooth so we are up to 7 now. Which just seems like a ton for a 10 month old. Yup thats right my baby will be 10 months old tomorrow. Gosh where has time gone. Hes still crawling funny but he will get up on his hands and knees and rock. I figured he probably will never crawl right I mean why learn if the way you are doing it getsya from point A to point B just fine. Ugh he is now pulling up on everything. I hate it I know its something that he has to do, but I always feel like he is going to fall and hit his head, and the hard wood floors are not a soft landing pad.
Whats new with mommy and daddy, well not much. Daddy put the new exaust fan in the bathroom along with the recessed light mommy wanted. Mommy was really excited about it and I really do love all the new light we have in the bathroom. Mommy is now on her 2 natural cycle. I don't know why all of a sudden I am getting some what normal cycles but hey Ill take it. It took me 3 natural cycles to get pregnant with Carter. So we yes we are trying to make Carter a big brother. Just think in 9 months I could be having my little girl. Well its wishfull thinking right!
In other news Croix is going to be a big brother. I have known this for awhile but wanted to wait to share the news. Birth controll failed Jake and P and an ops is on the way. P is right around 9 weeks pregnant. She is freaking out a bit because A Croix is only 5 months old and B is in school and is due like the week the next semester starts. She already put off school once she can not do it again. She was on a waiting list for 3 years to get in to this program she is in, if she takes a semester off she will have to be put back on the 3 year waiting list. P thinks its a girl and I hope so too!
Carter's Aunt Lina and Uncle Mike also found out that there baby is going to be a boy. I was hoping they would have a girl but oh well.

We haven't been doing much the last few days. With cutting 4 teeth at once and what not Carter hasn't been in the mood to really do anything. We did go to baby Croix baptism party on Sunday but that is about it. We also visited a in door playground on Sunday with my cousins family that was before the baptism though. Anyways here are some pictures of the recent days with Carter.

I feel like a bad mommy
Just 2 days ago I announced that Carter's top tooth finally popped through well tonight just minutes ago I was laying in the bed with him tickling him when what do I notice, 2 more teeth have popped through and I didn't even no about them. What kind of mom doesn't notice when her child is getting 3 teeth in at once not just the one tooth we knew was coming in. What is odd though is he got his top right tooth, and now his 2 eye teeth but the top left tooth isn't out yet. I am sure it will be in a day or so. Gosh 4 teeth at once and really he isn't all that crabby. But now I totally understand why he wasn't a happy camper on Christmas. My poor baby!

9 Months
Carter is 9 months today I can not believe he is so freaking old already where the hell has time gone. It makes me so so sad!
On Monday I took Carter for his 9 month picture. They turned out terrible. We had a great photographer and the stupid company laid her off. But they left this terrible lady there. She was just not the greatest person with kids to say the least. The problem is we have already paid for all of his sittings until 18 months, which includes a free 8x10 each time. So we have 3 sittings left. 9 months, 1 year and 18 months. So I took him in anyways already knowing I didn't like the lady. And I was right they came out not so great. So yesterday I went back in there to tell them that I would only be getting an 8x10 because I didn't like the lady and I didn't like how the pictures turned out. She gave us about 10 mins and Carter wasn't smiling in any of the pictures. So I go to pick out my 8x10 and I am complaining to the lady (a different lady) who was helping my pick out my 8x10 and she told me that since I wasn't happy with them that she would re-shoot them for me. So we went back today and they came out a lot better. Carter still didn't want to smile for them but we atleast got 2 or 3 with him smiling. So I am happier now. I have to spend $50 or more to get the cd of the pictures so you will all have to wait until later this week to see them because I haven't decided on which shots I am going to order yet. Jim's picking up the proofs on the way home from work tomorrow so I havn't even got the proofs yet.
In other news Carter finally has his 3rd tooth his top right tooth finally popped through yesterday. We could see the tooth sitting on his gum line for 3 weeks it finally came through! It seemed like to took forever. So we do have a little bit of a crabby baby and mommy forgot the motrin at Grandma's house so I am going to have to run and pick that up in the morning. Tylonal isn't seeming to help. Though looking on the bright side he isn't crabby all of the time he just goes through spurts through out the day of crabyness. And I am sure the tooth popping through had something to do with why he wouldn't smile for his pictures!

Christmas 08
Well Christmas has come and gone and I finally have time to upload some pictures for you all to see. It was a great time and I can't wait to see what he thinks about it next year!
Christmas Eve is always my family. We had fun there. Its always the same old people but it was fun none the less. With all the new babies in my family it has really toned down a lot most people were leaving by 9:30ish and that is really early for my family when I was a child it Christmas Eve last well past midnight.
Christmas day was a laid back day at Jim's parents house as it always did. We opened gift and ate a wonderful turkey and ham dinner it was great. Carter got really spoiled with gifts!
And now what you all came here to see the pictures!
